The building
RALF SCHMITZ completed the building at Sigmaringer Strasse 17 A in 2024. It was designed by Sebastian Treese Architekten. Above a light-coloured base, the facade is built in red brick, a reference to Berlin’s brick tradition.
The building has twelve apartments. From the entrance hall with its brass letterboxes, the lift takes residents directly into each apartment. A car lift connects the hall with the fully automatic parking system on the second basement level, which has 14 spaces.

Location
Sigmaringer Strasse is in Wilmersdorf, close to Ludwigkirchplatz. Kurfürstendamm is a walk away through quiet streets. The neighbourhood has small shops, galleries, restaurants and cafés.
A farmers’ market with regional produce is held twice a week on Hohenzollernplatz, where the Japanese cherry trees blossom in spring. Grunewald forest is a few minutes away via Hohenzollerndamm.
